Further Information:
Dorothy sees clients at The Edinburgh Centre of Nutrition and Therapy, the Salisbury Centre (near the Commonwealth swimming pool) and runs a private practice from her home in Currie. Sessions last from 60-90 minutes and she is happy to help adults and children/teenagers and take NHS referrals. She has enhanced CRB dislosure.
Dorothy has worked for many years with adults with mental health difficulties in the Royal Edinburgh Psychiatric Hospital, a community health centre and a women's support centre, as a creative writing tutor. She also co-facilitates a women's support group and has three teenage children. She finds the human givens approach refreshingly practical, creative and effective for the way it enables people to quickly move on to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
