Further Information:
I am in private practice, working mainly in York (where there is a good park-and-ride service) but I can also arrange sessions at my home in Pocklington, between Beverley and York.

I came to Human Givens about five years ago after many years as a teacher and carer. I was originally inspired by the Human Givens theory that that people have the power within themselves to heal their lives if given a little help - especially if that help is based on a properly-researched understanding of how the mind really works. This means that the client's needs must determine the therapeutic approach rather than the other way around. With this in mind I usually begin with an introductory session of about an hour in which the client and myself can get to know each other a little, clarify the aims of the treatment and discuss possible approaches. Further sessions may take from an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what is needed.

I have CRB disclosure.
