  Specialist Areas:  Depression, anger, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, eating disorders, addiction (providing the sufferer wants to stop), panic attacks, phobias, fears, insomnia, relationship, communication and emotional problems.
Out of control emotions (jealousy/envy etc.), lack of confidence, low
self-esteem, poor motivation, painful memories, perfectionism, unable
to be assertive, relax or cope, ineffective in personal life and/or work, isolation, loneliness and weight issues. Physical symptoms as a result
of high emotional states such as irritable bowel, ME/chronic fatigue, psoriases, asthma, migraine, aching muscles and tension.
 
 


Further Information:
 Val brings a wealth of experience having worked as a Human Givens Practitioner since 2002 and before that many years working in mental health rehabilitation, with some of that time in a management role. She has worked with people of all ages suffering from a wide range of mental health problems, including dementia. Val has always been interested in people and mental health as far back as visiting long stay wards in two local psychiatric hospitals during the 1950s.

Sessions last up to 2 hours and cost £50 a session.

Val is a member of HG Psychological Services.
