About me

The most rewarding thing about using this approach is being able to make a difference and give hope.

My background is in Play Specialism, with 30 years experience’ working with Children and Young people in the NHS. The role involves the use of therapeutic play and other techniques to enhance the coping skills of families and children, whilst undergoing treatments and procedures in the hospital setting. Ages range from 0-18.

I also practise from home, offering private sessions to all age groups.

I can travel to you if necessary (additional costs will apply) within a reasonable radius.

GP referrals welcome.

I hold current enhanced (Level 3) DBS Certificates for the safeguarding of Children and Adults (updates attending annually), Indemnity Insurance and Data Protection Registration. I also volunteer for the Mental Health charity, MIND.
