About me

Hello, I’m Emma. Would you like feel in control of your emotions, happier, improve your sleep and get the most out of life? I’m able to work with you to help understand what stress is and identify your own stress signals. My passion is to help you feel better, calmer and live in the present moment. I ensure that you will leave each session feeling a sense of hope and enhanced control in your life.

Are you struggling following a trauma, loss, or a physical / mental health condition? I work with you to explore any emotional issues, offer deep listening and support you to make healthy changes to benefit you from the first session

In sessions I will teach you practical, simple ways to increase your own emotional resilience. You will be able to learn a variety of techniques, including mindfulness to enhance your life. Human Givens Therapy is short term, evidence based and helps people to feel better as quickly as possible.

I have experience helping people with chronic conditions and I live with Multiple Sclerosis myself, so I feel passionate about teaching others the techniques that have dramatically enhanced my own life.

Testimonials

“Talking things through with you helped me see the situation clearly, and I came out with ideas about how I could take control of things, rather than being controlled with my head spinning. You gave me confidence to approach the situation differently, and reminded me of the value that a few minutes of ‘me’ time can add, whether that’s simply sitting and relaxing, or doing something that I enjoy.”

“Thanks so much for all your kind thoughts and care for me over the brief time we’ve known each other. I can’t stress how important your input has been for me at a time that was really quite difficult. The reminder to stop and enjoy the world around me and take the time to connect with my own feelings and those of others has been very valuable. We should all remember that we are not the sum of our train of thoughts and we should take the time to feel and understand the feelings of others.”

“After our last session I couldn't believe how much better I felt. I cannot thank you enough for making me feel comfortable enough dealing with the trauma and helping me through it. I now rave about how amazing Rewind Therapy is. Can't wait for our next session”

"Very life changing, provides very practical tools to enhance your lifestyle. Thank you for helping me realise that not all stress is external. It is something I often create for myself and now I know how to stop! Thank you!“

“I’m starting to ‘let go’ of things that stress me out, which is having a good impact on me and on people who I’m close to. Emma helped me to concentrate more on living in the present. This has enabled me to overpower the negative or unwanted thoughts, making me feel more positive.”
