About me

Age 62 and rising, I have been glad of being a Human Givens Therapy practitioner, since 2004….based as I am since 1994 in the leafy quarters of central Cambridge. Here, I lectured The Science of Well-Being at Cambridge University for 8 years, wrote The Rough Guide to Happiness, for Penguin Books, and edited The Science of Well-Being for Oxford University Press. I also penned over 100 columns for The Times newspaper, as Dr FeelGood, and a column in the Financial Times, too.

My website at www.NicksBook.com will help you decide whether my experience as a public-presenter and 1 to 1 practitioner might be helpful to you.

Qualifications

• PhD from Cambridge University (1999) for my thesis 'Learning from Wonderful Lives' : a study of high-achieving individuals, who rose from difficult beginnings'.
• Human Givens Diploma (2004)
• Practitioner's Diploma in Applied & Clinical Hypnosis, from University College London (2006)
• Level 3 EMDR Practitioner since 2012
