About me

I most commonly support the following clients; in the 18-30 age group, with chronic illness, neurodivergent, non-binary, transgender, and any ‘alternative’ clients who might appreciate working with a kindred therapist.

I am a cisgender heterosexual therapist with close ties to LGBT+ individuals and understand the complexities of navigating within a heterosexist society.

I am disabled and currently have some mobility issues. Working as a psychotherapist is meaningful and worthwhile – I’m able to do this work from my home therapy office and it has become an important part of my life.

Testimonials

Charlotte is a compassionate, intelligent, understanding, empathic and just generally all-round wonderful person, with a fantastic knack for finding the therapy methods that worked for me. I've tried a few different therapists but found Charlotte to be the best; I felt the most comfortable talking to her and she was the most adept at adjusting her style and methods to find something that was compatible with me.
I worked with her for a number of sessions and noticed a tangible improvement in my mental health and general happiness. With her help not only did the problems I went to see her about improve, but I also found other unexpected benefits.

final year student (depression and body issues)

Talking to Charlotte has helped me to get through some difficult times and her open-minded, non-judgmental and supportive approach made me feel safe to be open and honest with her. Her calm, reassuring attitude was invaluable, helping me to feel more grounded during times of emotional distress. She helped me come to my own decisions about how best to move forwards

young person (relationship and life changes)

Charlotte helped me through a seriously tough time last year, and gave me the confidence to deal with a lot of situations since. I've recommended her to friends and would do so again. She's very easy to talk to, non-judgmental and professional.
Her therapy room is a relaxed, calm environment and the tea is wonderful.

graduate (work/life redirection)

Thank you very much for supporting me all this time.
You have changed my life more than anyone else has within less than 5 sessions. Thank you, really.

international student (wrestling with future choices)

We have addressed all the issues that have been affecting my wellbeing and I feel that I am now in a position to work on them on my own.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help, you have made such a positive impact on me
