About me

As a registered psychotherapist, I work with children, young adults, whole families and older adults. No matter what stage in life a client is at, if their mental health needs attention, each feels the discomfort of unmet emotional needs, a missing coping skill or an active traumatic template (sometimes all three). High quality psychotherapy offers clients the most appropriate (and expedient) approach, thus leading to positive results and limits the manifestation of destructive behaviour or limiting belief structures. I am passionate about demonstrating good mental health practices to clients (and their families), so they may become well equipped to deal with future challenges and flourish at any age.

I am a highly experienced Psychotherapist working in Lincolnshire, UK wide and Online. I divide my time between training/lecturing, supporting teams through reflective practice and peer groups, as well as private therapy sessions.

I work therapeutically with many organisations through Employee Assistance Programmes, and with the charity PTSD Resolution, supporting veterans and their families. I also accept self-referrals and clients funding through some insurers and private health insurers. Please note that, due to professional capacity and commitment to clients, there is often a 6 – 8 week lead time for appointments.

Since qualifying as a Human Givens Psychotherapist, and beyond in my Masters’ Degree (MA), I have worked continuously with Children’s Services in many Local Authorities, to offer families in need (open/at risk of Supervision Orders) specialist treatment, whilst managing the safeguarding issues within Social Work Teams. I also work with Adoption and Post Adoption Support Teams. I have dedicated the majority of my capacity to this area of therapy and in December 2020 I had a multipage article published (Human Givens Journal) on the value of an integrated approach between the client and multi-agency support.

I am an energetic, vibrant and flexible therapist, who values and upholds the client focus first and foremost in the therapeutic relationship. I approach sessions in an authentic way, being honest, and open, offering clients the opportunity to discuss sensitive issues with ease. Sessions can be face to face, virtual or walking therapies, depending upon need and suitability.
