About me

Lynda has worked for the NHS for 20 years. She has helped to develop mental health services ranging from a forensic secure unit to older peoples services. Lynda has supported people in deep distress, to move forward with their lives, teaching ways to calm and supporting people to find a sense of meaning and purpose. She can help to alleviate and manage any form of mental distress no matter how difficult.

For the last 10 years she has utilised the Human Givens approach, working towards setting up her own private practise as a qualified Human Givens therapist. As an experienced group leader, Lynda helped to run Mindfulness meditation courses which has been clinically proven to help alleviate anxiety and depression as well as relieve physical pain.

Lynda has an enhanced DBS clearance, is happy to receive referrals from anyone including GPs, and is able to do home visits. She is based in Hampshire, Southsea.

Lynda can currently see clients one day a week.
