About me
The exploding demands of our fast-paced world are becoming increasingly stressful and difficult to handle. The good news is that you can learn to build resilience, to develop your inborn capabilities, and connect to your potential in a sustainable way.
In just a few sessions of coaching or therapy, I can help you overcome debilitating symptoms without unduly dredging up the past.
If you want to develop practices to increase your sense of agency, to have more control over your mind and how you feel, this approach might be for you. Emotional agility is the key to a deeper sense of meaning, as well as connection to oneself and others.
I have been a psychotherapist, coach, supervisor and educator for three decades and have worked in private practice, as well as in educational (including the NHS) and corporate settings. As a Fellow of the Human Givens Institute and former lecturer, I have extensive experience in teaching the core principles and practice of wellbeing.
My practice is focused on the relief of the debilitating symptoms of stress and burnout. These can include low mood, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, addictive behaviours, communication difficulties, the fallout from big life changes, loneliness and isolation.
Closest to my heart has been decades of experience with neurodiverse people. I have worked with all ages and with talents right across the spectrum: from computer wizards, scientists and high functioning business brains to artists, musicians and writers. I am all too familiar with the processing difficulties that arise from overwhelm and with the complex interior life of highly sensitive people. I have a separate website on www.neurodiversityworking.com.
Do get in touch to explore whether I might be able to support you on your healing journey.
