About me

With a background in Holistic Alternative Therapies and as a Yoga teacher, I have always enjoyed helping people and now as a dedicated Human Givens Therapist I enjoy working with adults, children, teens, families and couples to achieve mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

There can come a time in anyone’s life when one, for whatever reason, feels stuck, held back from living one’s life the way one would like to. Asking for and accepting help is the opposite of failure; in much the same way as self-care is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation and the way to success. Knowing this will hopefully help you feel more comfortable about coming to therapy.

Human Givens therapy is not just a “talking therapy” and it doesn’t overly dwell on the past either which can be very hard for many people. Human Givens is a modern, holistic, solution-focused approach to helping people overcome their challenges and issues so as to enable people to move forward with their life.

Using the HG organising idea together with effective therapeutic techniques and interventions, which we will discuss in session, I will help you access your own resources and skills set to bring about the changes you seek, build your confidence and help you feel better thus attaining a positive outcome in a relatively short amount of time. I will teach you tools that will equip you to take back control of your life and stand you in good stead for the future.

I run my counselling sessions in a relaxed practice room in my home I have enhanced DBS disclosure.
