About me

I embrace the Human Givens approach — a holistic model that combines the most effective principles of psychology and neuroscience to help individuals meet their essential emotional needs and achieve lasting mental and emotional wellbeing.
I currently work across private practice, the NHS, and educational settings, and also contribute to two non-profit organisations, where I mentor young people through challenges relating to relationships, mental wellbeing, employment and more.
I work with clients of all ages, I have particular strengths in supporting young people and young adults (11–30 years), drawing on my many years of experience as a teacher and mentor. This background has deepened my understanding of the pressures facing young people today and strengthened my commitment to helping them build resilience and self-awareness.
My curiosity about the mind–body connection and the factors influencing mental and emotional health has long shaped my work. I am fascinated about how, when the brain’s natural processes are understood and supported, people can flourish and restore balance in their lives. Personal experiences of stress and observing the struggles of others — particularly children and young adults — guided me from education into counselling and psychotherapy.
I believe strongly in every person’s potential to grow, evolve, and rediscover overlooked strengths and abilities. My role is to help clients navigate life’s challenges, identify and meet their emotional needs, and move towards the version of their lives they most want to live — with balance, confidence, and purpose.

You were absolutely helpful and caring. Your services and times very prompt. And you helped my son to the best therapy you could provide. Very humble, kind and caring and understood a mother’s concern regarding his wellbeing.
