About me
When we meet I will listen carefully to what you are concerned about and together we will work out whatever it is you would like to change and to get support with. You choose what to work on in each meeting we have. We will have a clear agreement and boundaries to create a safe place in which to work together. Our sessions are confidential.
On my website is a short video (1.5 mins) I made so you can check me out and see me explaining a bit of what I do. See https://www.bwis.online/about-sue.
I offer a free 15 minute Discovery phone call for you to explore if what I offer is what you want. You can ask questions and tell me a little of what you are looking for if you wish. We arrange a time we can both be free for this.
I work with individuals, couples and groups.
I have worked in a range of settings; in the NHS, in commercial companies, in charities, education, universities, and in my own private practice.
My History
I started my career as a neurological physiotherapist, moving on to run a Brain Injury Unit in which I also worked as a psychotherapist for people with brain injury and their families. I became director of a hospital, followed by roles doing business and service development in the NHS and the charity sector. Throughout this time I have been a psychotherapist working with individuals, and a trainer in emotional health and mental wellbeing.
I actively encourage people to increase their knowledge and skills so they are more confident and successful in creating a life that works well for them. And to help them feel empowered to ask for help when they need it, and create effective systems to maintain balance in their life.
Do email me if you’d like to arrange a free 15 minute discovery call to check out if I’d be the person you’d like to work with or not.
