About me

I work in a positive, goal-oriented way, with a strong coaching dimension reflecting my background in Coaching Psychology. Whatever your difficulty, we’ll also find time for laughter – my aim is for you to leave each session feeling better, and more hopeful, than before.

Sessions with me involve friendly, non-judgemental discussion of the issues you’re facing, practical cognitive techniques, deep relaxation when appropriate, and thoughtful strategies to help you move forward.

Sessions are available online via Zoom throughout the week, so you can access therapy from wherever you are. In-person sessions take place at weekends in welcoming period therapy rooms in central Bath.

Before becoming a therapist I held senior roles in national and international charities, and worked before that as a freelance translator for various United Nations agencies, and as a language teacher.

If it sounds like the way I work might suit you, get in touch to book a free 30-minute chat. It’s a chance for me to understand what change you’re hoping for, and for you to ask me any questions.

Testimonials

Suzi helped me more than I can say. Everyone needs help sometimes in their life so please don’t be afraid to reach out to someone like Suzi who may help you in ways you never thought possible.

Female client - Depression & anxiety.

My overall well-being has undergone a remarkable transformation. I wholeheartedly recommend Suzi to anyone seeking guidance and support on their journey toward personal growth and healing.

Female client - Anxiety, trauma & relationship difficulties.

I was apprehensive before starting as this was my first time in therapy, but Suzi quickly put me at ease with her professional and relaxing manner.

Female client - Stress, family & parenting challenges.

When I approached Suzi at first, I was seeking support following a turbulent period in my relationship. My self-esteem was very low and I was questioning myself, my place in the relationship and my worth and value as a partner. Suzi was compassionate and reassuring from our initial phone call onwards, and I found her very easy to talk openly with. Very quickly, she helped me reach an understanding about the real root of the problem, and I was surprised to see how many areas of my life the issue had spread to. Over a number of sessions, she helped me to feel calmer and happier in myself, and to develop strategies with which to move forward. I would have no hesitation in recommending Suzi, and am very grateful for all that she has done for me.

Female client - Anxiety

Suzie is so easy to talk to and soon help me restore my self confidence and sense of purpose. She teaches ways of dealing with anxiety and how to understand our responses to every day issues whilst also making you feel listened to and valued.
