About me

Life can be challenging: my clients come to me when they feel overwhelmed by the stresses of life, unwelcome events, or by their own inner struggles. As an experienced Human Givens Therapeutic coach, I offer an individually tailored approach, to help people identify and achieve their goals so they can live their best life.

I support people to recognise their inner strengths and resources (so many people under-estimate themselves) and acquire new skills and knowledge that support emotional well-being and resilience.

I understand that it can be a daunting task to choose a therapist to work with, so I offer a free 15 minute, no obligation chat, to answer questions and discuss concerns.

I have had a lifelong interest in health and well-being.

I started my working life as a nurse before progressing into senior roles as a management consultant and policy adviser working with organisations to create healthy and supportive workplace environments.

I feel privileged, as a Human Givens Therapeutic Coach, to have been invited by my clients, from diverse backgrounds and with wide-ranging hopes and dreams, to support them in a part of their life journey, to make positive life changes.

Testimonials

I approached Verity with issues I thought were irresolvable and have come away as a new person. I felt involved and able to direct the sessions, guided by Verity, who put me at ease immediately. I am very grateful for her warmth, help and support.

Verity has been invaluable to me. She has always been immensely supportive, and I have felt able to be totally open with her. I trust her experience and expertise and instincts. Verity has helped me work through a lot of trauma, and taught me ways to accept and be with what is here. I feel much better resourced. Huge Thanks.

From the very beginning of our sessions I felt listened to and heard. You took the time to understand my situation and the ways in which I was struggling. When I started the sessions I was in a really low place and I felt trapped by my situation and how I was coping with everything, but you instantly created a safe space that I felt validated in. I loved the mixture of just being able to speak my truth, as well as being given practical tasks and ideas to move forward with. I know the experience has been life changing and I feel so much freer and able to cope with things as a result. I can’t help but think your support in releasing a lot of the inner stress and turmoil has helped my body to relax enough to get pregnant too!
Verity, your compassion and empathy is so powerful. I’m forever grateful for your help and I know our sessions will continue to help me in the future.

My sessions with Verity have been truly life changing. Verity enabled me to unbundle thoughts, feelings and emotions and then understand and work with them. I was suffering from chronic anxiety when I first went to see Verity, and I hadn't slept properly for years. As a result of the work I've done with Verity, not only am I free from the punishing physical and mental effects of anxiety and lack of sleep, but I feel assured and confident in all aspects of my work and social life. I can't thank her enough for enabling me to feel genuinely at peace with myself and those around me, and providing me with the tools to live my best life. My partner and mother are ever grateful too!!!.
