HGI signs Armed Forces Covenant
We are delighted to announce that the HGI has officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant, which enshrines a promise by the nation to ensure that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
Organisations of all sizes may choose to sign the voluntary pledge, and our doing so reinforces our longstanding commitment to this community, particularly through support of PTSD Resolution’s brilliant work (see https://ptsdresolution.org/).
As many will know, the free therapy offered by PTSD Resolution to veterans and reservists and their families is delivered only by HG practitioners, because of its effectiveness.
Signing the covenant reaffirms our dedication to veteran mental health care and commitment to: expanding awareness of mental health challenges within the military community; encouraging more HG therapists to work with PTSD Resolution; supporting real-world research into effective trauma treatment; and promoting armed-forces-friendly employment practices.
