About me
Supervision is an important part of a therapist’s ongoing training and support, whether they are a trainee, newly qualified or experienced. I have been lucky to have been in very safe hands as I have grown and developed my own private practice and understand how reassuring this is for a supervisee. I qualified in 2017 and built my practice up from part-time work around employment to a full-time role since 2022. I have combined this with working for organisations such as PTSD Resolution, Action for Neurodiversity and Headway as well as businesses. This varied work demands a flexible and creative working style and this is what I can offer a supervisee.
For trainee and newly qualified therapists I can offer a safe space to grow and explore your own work, as well as navigating any ethical issues which may arise along the way. For you, working with an experienced therapist and business owner, you can benefit from that experience while you either move towards your Part 3 week, or take your work forward in whatever area you choose.
For experienced therapists, it would be appropriate to take a collaborative approach to reviewing more complex cases or perhaps considering how particular techniques can be utilised to benefit a client.
I welcome an initial online or telephone conversation, free of charge, to see if we will be a good fit with each other. I would encourage a potential supervisee to ensure they are truly comfortable with their chosen supervisor and they will help them achieve their goals for that stage of their development and work.
