About me
I qualified as an HG Supervisor in 2013. As well as working with HG therapists in private practice or who are employed elsewhere, I have also provided supervision to other health professionals and care workers in hospices and young people’s charities for many years, which has broadened my experience.
I’m passionate about supervision being a space where you can proactively check in as often as needed, and where you’re able to bring all aspects of your work up for discussion. This may include challenging or demanding cases, uncertainties or dilemmas, new experiences, reviewing HG principles and techniques or reviewing your overall practice and how well it’s working and developing. I strongly encourage discussion of CPD topics and resources as well as reflections on what you most enjoy or find most interesting or challenging. I have a special interest in helping with personal development and finding the best ways to maintain spare capacity so that your work remains your passion!

Testimonials
"Jenny’s supervision has been invaluable. She has a compassionate approach in the way she both offers suggestions, support and advice on client work but also in the way she always checks my own well-being and spare capacity. I appreciate the way that I'm able to decide the agenda of sessions and that I'm given time to explore what is most helpful, plus being kept updated on any HG requirements. Jenny’s vast experience is very evident in the variety of topics we have discussed over the years and I really value having someone I know I can talk to about anything."
"Jenny is an exceptional supervisor. She brings a compassionate heart, an open mind and curiosity to our sessions which has been enormously helpful in my own development as a therapist. Jenny is genuinely interested in her supervisees, and helping them to grow and flourish."
"Supervision sessions have the right balance of personal and professional interest and how I am doing as a practitioner and a person. Jenny ensures I am giving best practice and she is very supportive through challenging cases."
