About me

Feeling stressed? As if you are always running to stay in the same place? Find yourself worrying too much? Perhaps it’s hard making decisions so even small issues seem huge? Having trouble sleeping? Do you feel as if you have no energy, so it’s hard to get out of bed in the mornings? If so, I can help.

Clients come to see me when they want to find solutions that work for them – new ways to deal with stress or anxiety, depression or communication issues. My aim, if you choose to work with me, is that you will leave each session feeling a little better, more hopeful and more confident in your ability to recover, to make the changes that you would like to see in your life.

A typical session will begin with me listening to you to really understand your situation. Then together we’ll use a combination of your abilities, and resources and my knowledge and training to work out a practical plan to move you forward. Sometimes all it takes is a chance to talk things through, or to learn a few new strategies or skills, take on board mindset shifts or new understandings about emotional health. Sometimes a few sessions are required to gradually move things forward to a better place.

I have over twenty years experience supporting parents to navigate stressful and difficult feeding situations to achieve outcomes that worked for them. Now I am extending my work by training as a psychotherapist so that I can further support a wider range of people in challenging situations. I live in South Holmwood and offer therapy at my home in a dedicated therapy room which is calm and peaceful.
