About me

I have journeyed with individuals facing challenging circumstances for many years and seek to work with you to identify what barriers might be in place to then find solutions to feeling emotionally well.

Deciding to see a therapist and then finding one you trust can feel difficult and daunting, I offer a pressure free 20 minute chat to determine if we’re able to work together.

Have you experienced a change that is causing concern? A bereavement, loss or trauma. Or financial hardship?

Are you are experiencing long term effects of feeling emotionally unwell? Stress, anxiety or depression.

Either way I seek to work with you to identify solutions and offer practical tools to support this.

My professional career has led me to work with:

  • families in a paediatric hospice provision
  • individuals who have been subjected to domestic abuse
  • parents of children with additional needs
  • those who find themselves in marginalised communities

I have worked with Suffolk Mind’s counselling service and am based in Felixstowe, Suffolk although also offer online sessions.

As I have had the opportunity to journey with individuals and groups, I am convinced that every human has the capacity to heal and that we’re born as kind and connected beings, but barriers can get in the way of us knowing how to access this healing. If any of the above resonates with you then please do get in contact.

Testimonials

"Sessions with Emma helped me through a stage of life when I was constantly feeling out of my depth and out of control of my own emotions. These sessions allowed me to process each thought and empowered me to feel back in control and comfortable with my own feelings."
