People come and see me when they are stressed out, feeling miserable, not sleeping, that type of thing.

In the first session I listen to what’s been going on and then, using my experience from doing hundreds of hours of therapy, I then implement a targeted plan to help them feel calmer, brighter, sleep better, give up the drink, drugs or improve whatever issue brought them to see me.

Having worked as a solution-focused hypnotherapist for some years, I then undertook a significant period of further psychotherapy training with the Human Givens College. I gained a distinction in my psychotherapy diploma and then moved onto becoming a Registered Member of the Human Givens Institute.

My life experience, which has included being a qualified staff nurse, a mother and experiencing some challenging personal circumstances, has made me passionate that, no matter how difficult life becomes, positive change is possible.

I really want you to feel better at the end of each session. As well as dealing with the reason you have come to see me, I aim to give you an understanding of how to maintain emotional health moving forward so it’s less likely that you will need therapy in the future.
