About me

Avril is a strong advocate of the Human Givens approach as an accessible, practical and effective framework to better understand ourselves and take good care of our emotional health and wellbeing. Her experience of, and commitment to, using the Human Givens approach and methods is such that individuals overcome current stressors, whatever their source, and leave each session with a renewed sense of hope and confidence.

Emotional distress can occur in anyone’s life for a whole variety of reasons and at any time. Avril fully understands how self-knowledge and understanding can be transformative and with the right support individuals can increasingly take charge of their lives, overcome old trauma, manage present day challenges and setbacks, reaching a place where they can identify and achieve their personal goals. Avril’s intervention empowers them to rewrite their story.

Avril works on a one-to-one basis with clients and also runs small personal development and parenting courses. She develops bespoke workplace courses and workshops for a diverse range of organisations. For further information check out https://www.dublinhumangivens.ie/avril-bailey

Testimonials

“Thank you for your care and attention Avril. You created a warm and safe environment where I really felt listened to by you. I’m able to see things from a new perspective. I now appreciate just how resilient and resourceful I am and life problems just don’t overwhelm me in the same way”.

Emma 30

“I just feel so well, full of life, its literally as if the enormous weight depression has been lifted off my shoulders. I sleep better and look forward to the day - look forward to the future “

Colm 44

“Thank you Avril - I don’t think I would have made it through these last few difficult months without your support. You helped me navigate my way through life changing decisions to a place where I can happily move on with my life”

Pat 64

“No more panic attacks . Literally a life saver - thank you. This experience has transformed my life. My only regret is that I didn’t look for support sooner”

Anne 36

“What a different experience -no anxiety. I sat my exams in a calm relaxed manner and if I got a bit anxious I knew how to calm myself down - quickly and easily. Every student should learn these skills.”

Mark 17

“Thank you for all the care and expertise you brought supporting our son . The nightmares are gone and our little chatterbox is back, socialising with his friends and annoying his big brother !”
