About me
If you are affected by anxiety, depression, trauma or your mental health is affected by a long-term health condition, I can help. If you feel your life has lost direction or meaning and purpose, I can help. If you are struggling with work related stress, I can help.
My aim is to help you to get your life back on track as quickly as possible, equipped with skills to help you maintain your mental health in the future. Since founding RISE Therapeutic Counselling and Coaching in 2021, I have helped many people to move forwards from difficult times in their lives – perhaps I can help you too.
In addition to my private practice, I also work for Suffolk Mind, delivering training sessions in a variety of settings to help people understand how to take care of their emotional health. I am also a member of their counselling team and have helped many people experiencing all kinds of emotional distress.
I have a special interest in supporting people who live with long term health conditions and as part of my work with Suffolk Mind have worked extensively with people who have long covid, chronic fatigue and functional neurological disorder. Conditions such as these can have a detrimental impact on someone’s mental health and I am passionate about supporting people to find ways to improve their emotional health while protecting their physical health.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in education as a teacher, senior leader and head-teacher and have extensive experience in coaching and mentoring as a result. As well as counselling, I offer coaching to support people in reaching career goals, manage workload, difficult conversations and who are looking to change their careers.
