About me

My Human Givens journey began in 2009, and my work in the field began 20 years prior. I have taught HG on a counselling skills diploma and worked as a therapist with adults, couples, staff within organisations, teachers, parents, families, young people and children.

My strengths lie in flexibility and creativity – tailor-making my approach to each client. I use an integrative approach within the human givens framework, knowing exactly why each varied and different technique can be effective in accordance with current neuroscience.

I work from a trauma-informed, solution-focused integrative perspective, exploring with my clients how to access their own resources and learn skills to make life work well. This includes working with the body and helping to harness and reclaim our amazing brains, getting our innate resources to work effectively for us so that our emotional needs can be more easily met in balance. Therapy doesn’t always have to be long-term (although sometimes it needs to be) and I consider it a privilege to bear witness to change and transformation.

Our sessions are a safe space where you can be seen and heard with compassion and without judgement. I would love to work with you to see that inner change that brings emotional healing and freedom.

I am happy to offer a free 15-minute chat on the phone before the first session.
