Cathy spent the first part of her career as a coach, trainer and workshop facilitator in the corporate world. She has a keen interest in the link between psychological wellbeing and personal effectiveness and is currently undertaking Masters' degree research into how Self-Compassion practices can help people to develop greater resilience. Cathy offers specialist coach-counselling sessions to support people struggling to manage anxiety, depressive, or panic episodes in the workplace. She also works with private clients at her home-based practice in Gloucester and holds Enhanced DBS Certification.
Clients often report that Cathy has helped them to identify and replace unhelpful habits with positive new practices which help them to become more effective both in work and life. She aims to create a safe, non-judgemental space in which people can reconnect with their personal gifts and resources, explore and articulate a plan for change and rehearse how to bring this into reality.
