I am currently relocating within London.
After experience of several psychotherapeutic approaches, I became interested in the human givens approach in 2001 and completed the Human Givens Diploma in 2008.
When someone’s daily life becomes bogged down by a personal difficulty, and they cannot find a way through it for themselves, they can suffer from distressing feelings of insecurity and loss of control. Human givens psychotherapy aims to restore that control in the shortest time possible by working with effective tools and modern knowledge to resolve most difficulties, whether expressed as trauma, anxiety, phobia, depression, addiction, or other obstacles to well-being.
Many problems are rooted in some form of stress. Having spent some years as a television producer, I have direct experience of a pressurized work environment and the stresses that often go with it.
Besides my private practice, I also work at two charities, the City & Hackney Carers Centre and a branch of Mind in London, giving workshops and providing therapy for clients across a large range of problems.
I hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
Most sessions last between 60 and 75 minutes.
