About me

I describe my role as a little bit like a brain tourist guide. Imagine that you are stuck or lost in the forest of life and are unable to find your way out. I endeavour to help you on your journey, equip you with coping skills and education and guide you to finding hope again for the future.

I will listen to your story with care and compassion and provide emotional support to guide you back to the right road for a happier life.

I have worked with many people supporting their mental health, but one thing has connected them all. Making the first step to asking for help. It can take a huge amount of courage to ask for help, but one reassuring piece of research from neuroscience has shown that when we start to make small changes and repeat them over time, we can change our internal neuron network and start to think and behave differently. This is a process called plasticity and shows us that we can make changes to who we are at any time in our life.

Therefore, change is always possible.

Testimonials

“Michelle gave me a safe place and dedicated time to talk through issues I had 'put in a box' because I didn't feel it needed attention. However, new thoughts came out in our sessions and I was able to move forward… without the feeling of any pressure. Thank you so much for your time and understanding and most importantly your warmth.”

Client A, relationship issues

“I felt so much lighter after speaking with Michelle. We worked through a really difficult topic for me and it was done at my pace and allowed me to see things through a different lens. After the rewind session I was amazed to feel like something had shifted and I was no longer scared of the memory and what happened. It has allowed me to take back control and move forward with my life.”

Client B, trauma

“I’ve found my time with you to be absolutely brilliant, so thank you. I think having the validation that certain issues/experiences had been hard was really beneficial to my wellbeing, that alongside the re-wind session was a huge breakthrough moment for me in terms of moving forward. Being able to talk freely about losing my friend, Dad’s illness and relationship stuff was a whole new thing for me and I found your presence a really safe space to do this.”
