Taking on new supervisees

About me

I’m very happy to arrange a free no obligation call/zoom to discuss what you are looking for in an HG Supervisor and what I have to offer. We arrange a time that suits us both for this.

I have chosen to be a supervisor because I enjoy exploring with another person who is engaging in being more of who they want to be. As an effective & safe HG therapist, and also how they integrate that in a more wholistic sense, within their life as a whole. And I also love working with folk becoming HGTs – so earlier in this journey.

I came to HG later in my career having started out as an NHS Neurological Physiotherapist who moved into training as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist 30 years working for a time as a Rehabilitation Counsellor with clients who had experienced ABI – and their families. I then moved into health care management and leadership and became interested in the health and wellbeing of the people who work in the ‘caring’ professions – how each of us can keep ‘well’ so we can continue to give out to others too in a healthy sustainable way.

Today I have an active private practice both on line and in person (in Woodbridge, Suffolk) and also work one day a week for Suffolk Mind, the mental health charity, as a Wellbeing Trainer and Executive Coach – using HG. They use HG as a basis for all their service offers.

Do get in touch if you’d like to explore working with me – I see it as essential to find the ‘right fit’ – for us both.

Testimonials

Sue made me feel comfortable and gave me permission to shape the session, this linked to my need for control. I felt heard and validated that I was doing a good job. I also felt reassured that the concepts I was using were working and were effective. The session also made me reflect on other areas that I could draw on, this prompted me to read further and explore more in an area that is relatively new to me. Thanks for your time and expertise Sue, I enjoyed the session
