About me

As a trainee Human Givens Psychotherapist my approach is to be compassionate and responsive. I can offer a safe supportive space to allow you to be heard ,understood and start to formulate the steps you can take to meet your emotional needs.

I bring over 40 years of experience working within the NHS. My career has included roles as a nurse, midwife, health visitor and most recently a family nurse; an intensive long term programme for teenage parents and their babies. I have been privileged to be able to support people across all stages of their life through these varied roles.

I have particular experience of working alongside individuals at times of transition; with families experiencing significant life events, including becoming a parent, adjusting to a family and relationship changes.

I hold a Masters Level qualification in Infant Mental Health which has given me specialist knowledge of early emotional development, attachment and the parent-infant relationship. The experience has enabled me to work closely with parents and babies, helping strengthen relationships and support healthy emotional well-being.

Registered Nurse, and health visitor. Foster parent.
