About me
Hello there, I’m Beth, your Trainee Human Givens Therapist based in Greater Manchester.
I’ve had a kaleidoscope of life experiences, knowing first hand the importance of finding the right support. That’s why I am passionate about working with you to navigate where ever you happen to find yourself in right now.
The experiences and training that helps me to help you…
• Human Givens Practitioner Diploma training – Neuroscience-based therapy including practical and effective tools just waiting to be passed onto you when we start working together
• University BSC Hons degree, appreciation of the big step that moving away from home for the first time can be and the pressures of balancing self discovery with studying
• 6 years of working in the NHS – understanding the challenges which working in the public sector can bring
• 7 years working in a corporate environment in sales and account management – first hand experience of the competitive and often brutal nature of the private sector world and the drive required to grow and hit targets.
• Competitive athlete and member of my local running club for 25 years – experience of the highs and lows of training, coaching, injury prevention and rehabilitation (sorry knees!) and starting again (and again and again!)
• Cub Scout Leader for over 10 years having the experience of volunteering and the adventure that is working with kids of every kind of background
• Leader and Facilitator of a local peer to peer support group for adult survivors of CSA. Compassion and support of others through the unique challenges that CSA survivors face in today’s world and the power that community can bring for hope and healing. Bringing together people who can understand each other through a variety of activities such as crafts, yoga, breathwork, cooking, map reading and hiking.
