How to avoid burnout workshop - extra date added

Date posted: 18/10/2021

How to avoid burnout - self-care for helping professionals is a new live-online workshop taught by highly experienced tutor and therapist, Emily Gajewski

The course is designed to help anyone who is struggling with the unique pressures of working with vulnerable and distressed people.  Drawing on her wealth of experience, Emily examines the many ways that working in the caring professions can impact us personally and she provides practical steps to mitigate this and ways to identify your particular vulnerabilities. She also looks at the most up-to-date guidance on keeping ourselves well and thriving in caring roles and will help participants develop a realistic plan for their own continuing wellbeing.

We first ran the workshop back in September and it proved very popular, with spaces selling out quickly, so we have added an extra date - Tuesday 23rd November.  As before, places are limited to allow plenty of time for questions and discussion, and we anticipate this date filling quickly too.  You can find out more and book your place here - or, as always, please call our friendly team on 01323 811690.

These are just a few of excellent reviews the day received:

"Emily is a wonderfully warm and engaging facilitator with a wealth of practical experience ..."

"Excellent days training….very insightful and thought provoking" (Acupuncturist/ HG Therapist)

"Emily really helped me to see where my vulnerabilities lie ..." (counsellor)

We also have more live online workshops this Autumn on a range of topics including How to work effectively with troubled teenagers, How to create healing stories for children and Effective Pain Management – you can view all live online courses here and don't forget you can still save 20% OFF many of our other online courses.
