Dorothy runs a private practice from her home in Currie where she sees most of her clients. She works three days a month as the in-house therapist in two tech companies who prioritise mental well-being. If time and room availability permit, she can also see people in the city centre at the Edinburgh Centre for Nutrition and Therapy. She has been working as a Human Givens therapist since 2006. Her sessions are 90 minutes, a length of time that enables real improvement to be made at each appointment. She is happy to help adults and teenagers and has an enhanced CRB disclosure.
Dorothy has three grown up children. She is also a published poet and has led writing workshops in the community for many years. She finds the Human Givens approach refreshingly practical, creative and very effective in the way it can help people to quickly move on to a healthier, more fulfilling life
Dorothy accept adult clients, adolescents, and children of 10 years and over.
