I am a paediatric nurse and qualified school nurse with many years of experience working with children, young people and their parents in and around London.

Difficult and challenging life situations affect us all. Sometimes however, we can get overwhelmed or find it a struggle to cope with these things, whether they are in our surroundings, our relationships or in our own thinking and general emotional health. If you feel that you would benefit from support, then it would be my sincere hope that by working with me you would quickly recover a sense of equilibrium and get back on track 

I believe in people's capacity to change, grow and discover parts of themselves, that for many reasons they have not been able to see. I work with people to change the narrative of their circumstances, into the story they want to share with the world. I can aid you in whatever this journey looks like for you.

I have enjoyed working in the field of social care for over 30 years. I have gained experience working in the NHS, Community Mental Health Teams, GP surgeries, HMP Prison service, the probation service, Supported Housing, the charity sector, and in schools and Pupil Referral Units.

I am passionate about working with you to help you to regain control and understanding over your physical and mental wellbeing. 

I became a fully qualified Human Givens Psychotherapist in 2006. And have been running a very busy private counselling practice in Manchester for 11 years.

The majority of my professional life has been underpinned by a love of learning in all its guises! Sometimes the lessons to learn are challenging, other times a joy.

Extensive experience as a mental health practitioner - worked in NHS for over 25 years in variety of settings. Committed to ongoing Continuous Professional Development and Life-Long Learning.

I work with adults and young people and am fully DBS checked and insured.
